Sounds good. This spring he will be at that age when he'll need to be singled out. Jeff and I were down in burlington last weekend working on amy's dads cabin or house on stilts. Gonna have a place ot stay down there now. Planning on hitting a few of your hunts and just staying down there when it's all done.

Ya he takes after his dad.lol Can't wait till this spring to take him a long for the first time. Someday we'll get to send tyler and bryce in after the dogs and we'll sit on the tailgate.

Sunday night.

Sunday night we gave it a shot. Ty and I took Sky and Misty. Treed once in an old cattle shed with about 50 holes in the dirt floor, The den pictured below, another den, and a brush pile that was in an old house foundation. They did a real nice job on the tracks, but didn't end up with anything on the outside. We saw 3 coon running in the middle of the afternoon that day.

Sky's leg is doing well. Her foot bleeds real easy though from getting soft in that cast. Misty has been going pretty good with her. I haven't taken her out by herself yet.

Hey Cory

We got some snow down here the last 10 days or so. Actually had 2 days off of school. First ones so far! But at least in texas it dont stay long. It has all melted off and supposed to be in the 50's today! I think we have had about 5 days in the teens and maybe 5 in the 20's but for the most part it has been between mid 30's to mid 60' all winter. The average is in the low 50's! Now if we just had some trees! The ranchers have been telling me there are coon around here and I actually seen one hit on the road about a month ago.

Blaine quit rubbing in the Awesome weather down there!!Your Lucky you didnt mention this a month ago when it never hit above 0.I would have been on my way to shoot some hogs and soak in some sun!LOL. I bet I'll still have drifts in my drive in april. I really liked this new place until this winter. Amy's car has been parked at the bottom of the hill for over week. I was thinking about buys a tractor but a dozer may be more practical.

Stuffy- you are always more than welcome to come on down. We have a lot of hogs and prairie dogs that need shooting. Just got an electric caller for the yotes also. I love the sun and hot weather. Plus mud I have forgot what that even is!!

Cory- Yes we will be up there on the 13th of march till the 21st. Bringing a couple young boys with me that want to check out Iowa. I promised them they could see some good dog action! You have got to try the whole hog dog training it is a blast! It really gets your adrenaline goin to have them hogs tryin to eat ya. We have got quite the pack down here. Everything except a bluetick!! Hint Hint!! Dont know anybody that would send one of those down this way!

Looking at going to ok for a hog hunt in march. that week your back I am on break so we will have to hit the woods a little.

Why would you go to oklahoma for a hog hunt. Sounds like a good excuse to come down and visit. Plus no pin hogs here only wild try to find and catch em kind. Most the guys I have seen advertise hunts run them like a deer ranch. Still takes some skill though. Those darn pigs are actuallly pretty darn good at getting away.

Got booked for march 15th. Can't kill a freak'n deer with my bow might as well try and shoot a pig. Besides if I get a big enough one I will get it mounted and hang it on amy's wall. I'm sure she will love that. lol

Wouldnt it be so much cooler to tell all your buddies that you stuck the pig with a knife after throwing it down. Instead you are goin to say I shot it from 40 yards away. You think a big buck walkin under you can get your blood pumpin wait till you get a load of hoggin with the hounds! Sending in the catch dog then running in and tackling the pig! Now that is a rush!!
