blotch

Boy I sure got to witness some fine blue dog action last night from my dad's young blotch pup! He fired right in and got struck, run the track a short ways with some speed, and come treed like one should! We got to the tree and I threw my light up in it only to discover the ole boy had a kitten bobcat!!! I had the cross hairs on him with the safety off on the marlin ready to roll him out too!!!!! I don't how good of a coonhound ole blotch will make, but he sure is a number 1 bobcat hound !!!!

Shannon,
He was bred to get treed!!!!!!!!!.........Tim

Monday night was only the 4th night that I've hunted with Blotch since dad purchased him, and from what I've seen he gets treed more than enough for me, he trees more than my walkers!!! But I don't keep a wood monster though I like a good trailing hound, my walker female I'm pushing in pkc only avgs 2 trees in a 2 hour caat!!!! But she will have 100 and 100 on both and will be alone!

Blotch will be one intense lockdown tree dog that likes to get by himself. Iv'e hunted with Kitt and she will get alone and have the meat every time. Blotch has the breeding to make a super track driving get treed coonhound that will change you over from the spotted dogs.haha Just giving you a hard time about the walkers.
These young Turk pups are just now starting to show what they are made of. A bunch of them are just old enough to start in time for kill season. Ought to be a fun time come winter.

Roy I am not color blind at all, I will pack my dad's Babe bluedog anywhere and put her up against any walker too, she has never embarrassed me anytime I've hunted her, years and years ago my dad had another blue female I really loved we called belle, I made her a ntch and changed a lot of walker fanciers minds about a bluetick when they drew belle!!! I just prefer my walkers and heck some of the walker guys will tell ya ole Amy acts more like a bluetick than a walker!!!!!! And from what I've seen from Blotch he has a lot of talent he just needs some age and woods time!

Thanks for the kind words about Blotch! I am really liking him at this point. He seems to be able to run a track well and opens just the right amount on track and a nice tree dog I believe with some coon rolled in the season will be a dog you can tree on a GOOD locate and will take all the pressure you can put on him. He won't receive any pressure for awhile because I'm only going to hunt him by himself probably this whole season. I'm really looking forward to this kill season and hunting my young dogs. I think they are rally gonna make a nice pair. Both will only be hunted by themselves good or bad. I don't need a dog I have to hunt with something to tree a coon. Never have, Never will! Gordie

pups

Turk pups are slowly moving East, I have had requests for his pups in W V, Eastern KY, TN and southern Ohio, I just don't have any. We need to get a couple of GOOD females out that way bred to Turk so the Eastern hunters can see first hand what Turk has to offer...............Tim

Dakota,
He is sure a nice looking young dog. Have you started hunting him any yet? The ones that have been fooled with, that I know of, are really giving the cage coon heck. Roy is just waiting for some moisture so he can start hunting his. Keep me posted on how he is doing............Tim

Posted by rajunrebelblues on 09-16-2011 08:28 PM:

Mr.Tim
Have not started him yet we are bad off in Texas needing rain it wouldn't do anything for him except maybe make him trashy if I tried hunting him also everything we hunt is deer leases they all shut down dog hunting from October till December we will break him out then and I will be ground pounding him.. Even if he doesn't make he will be neutered and have a home for life he is the friendliest and smartest pup I have ever fooled with.. Should be visiting with u around December sometime to get that double smokey river tramp and sooner be blue female bred to Turk she is a track dog deluxe and a fairly nice treedog that is accurate to boot I think it will be a GREAT cross
