Plott Sectional

We had a barrel of fun, Lots and lots of dogs and these plott people all participate in everything event. I was 1 of 3 walker dogs to participate and was Moo was called a Holstein. Learned a lot about these plott dogs they enjoy about anything and are real calm and don't bark much. People were all real friendly even if I was packing a Holstein for a dog. Met lots of new people and enjoyed bobcat and bear stories.

On our events, they ran the field trial beside the swim pit and they had a coon hide in swim pit cage. Moo pulled up there and treed so that was end of that for us. 28 dogs in field trial.

On swim had they had 38 dogs entered, 30 registered and 8 champion dogs. Nice long pit had good boxes but they needed to fix fence it was underwater about a 20 feet part by the end and 2 winning dogs with big lead crossed over it and never left pond but were disqualified. Moo being one of them. He crossed the underwater fence and swam rest of way out but fence came out of water making him miss line, this also happened to a plott dog with a huge lead in his heat also. Both these dogs would probably won the final easily. We beat our group by 15 feet and had first tree. The dog that was second in my heat a redbone from oklahoma a lady had won final by 10 feet. Congradulations to her and another walker got seconds. I was not real happy about that fence and i hope they fix it. Cause I am sure it might have made a difference in both finals. 8 weeks work looked impressive till he crossed fence and couldn't get back and he did a wonderful job treeing. He will be ready for next time. Milstadt thanks for the great time and please fix fence.

Bench had 45 dogs I believe.

sounds like you had a good time mr jeff i use to go to the swim races back in the 70s every now and then just to watch i don't know if they still have any around here or not had a uncle bring me 2 lab pups but i just couldn't get into it let a young boy have the pups

Yea we had fun loved the stories.

Yea we had a lot of fun there were people from Virgina, Wisc, Michigan, Oklahoma all over. Poor guys that competition hunted had to wade water waist deep in places they said. That was nice of you to give that boy those dogs HB.

Have a good day and try to get the wife to rethink those pulling horses.

lol don't think she gonna do any rethinking on the horse thing talk to my buddy yesterday he said he could get windows for alot less than sears but with this big job he don't have time to put the windows in but he would come over on weekend and put the siding on he said all of todays windows are the same 1 is just as good as the other just differnt names he said he has put sears and coolvent windows in only differnce is the price and he wouldn't buy from sears they are tripple price on everything

sittin around watching the groomer lady give the dog a haircut and bath get her all pretty up

Tried ta call ya last nite Jeff ta see how it went,better luck next time,rainy & 51 chilly degrees,will be lookin' forward to later in the week warm up.

He swam great, conditioning was real good, treed like a champ. It was to bad about that fence, cause it cost another dog also. Hopefully it will be fixed next time or I will fix it for them!! It was a bad deal about the fence being like that they had a boat there. They made a lot of money for club. Wish that female would come in would like to make some more holsteins. LOL

Plan on going to Jamestown this weekend, sure would liked to get my picture in book again. Show my dog off cause my pic might break camera. I think Andy is bad luck I am taking you and Jack next time!! LOL

Mike ,this is that time of year when you get those short tracks on den trees . Take a big rock and smack the side of the tree every so often ,eventually you'll se 2 or 3 little heads pop out a hole and look down ,,lol,,done it dozens of times through the years .

ain't heard no peepers here yet they say going to get down in the high 30s for tonite my weather bug disappered off the tool bar and it won't let me download it back on here told the wife gonna have to get a new computer gotta take her to the denist to get some teeth pulled outa be warm up enough to work horses by time we get back
