Pete Berry passed away.

Pete Berry, longtime walker hunter/breeder from Salisbury, Missouri passed away earlier this month. He was a charter member of the Mussel Fork Coonhunters club. At one time it was a contest who had more dogs--Pete or Chicken Man. His dogs usually had the name "Berry's Sundown" in the title.
His shop, Chariton Exhaust, was a place many coonhunters hung out. He sold coonhunting supplies and several big time dog trades took place at his shop. He hunted, showed dogs on occasion, and enjoyed swim races.
Mussel Fork had scheduled to have a hunt and show in appreciation on July 13, but he passed away before the hunt--hunt is still scheduled.
Pete was a good friend.
