Looking for German Shorthair info

I am looking for some advice on German Shorthair Pointers. I am looking for a good level headed bloodline to start out with. I have raised Bluetick coonhounds and beagles for years and know theres a difference in bloodlines. I'm looking for a level headed line that I can hunt with. I don't see myself trialing. I don't mind traveling or shipping a dog but it would be nice if someone had a good line going in the NE I could drive to.
