4 year old blue english male

I have a 4 year old blue English male, rather a taller dog than I like. I have only had him a week and hunted him once. He is supposed to run and tree by his self. I took him once and nothing was really moving. He hunted out to about 300 yards struck once but I believe it was a cold track. Only reason I'm selling is to get a younger dog to start with my pup this fall. Sire: nitech Denny's fire mtn Cain dam: nitech Denny's fire mtn poison Polly. My buddy is the one I got him from and he said he's a nice dog he just didn't want a blue English. Only reason im getting rid of him is I like a smaller dog and want a red one
