Pups for sale soon in SE Ohio
I have 5 males and 5 females off of my Max and Snapper dogs. Born 6/26/14 and available 8/21/14. They are not performance eligible so will be selling them for $175. Snapper is not a brood female, she is a female with a ton of ability that I do hunt and is capable of titling. There are several dogs in this pedigree that have won on the national level, including Purina races, Autumn Oaks, Bluetick days, top 20 UKC World Hunt placements along with brothers and sisters to these dogs having similar accomplishments. Also several males and females that have made the current and historical reproducing lists are in this pedigree. Brains, mouths, tracking and winding/locating ability should be the traits that come to the front from this cross. Will have pictures in about 3 weeks once the pups colors start to show more. Thanks for reading and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

I've got a full litter mate to the Max dog that I call Jewel.I really like her. You'll not find much better mouths on hounds of any breed. I've heard some louder but not many are. The mother of that litter of pups is a fireball. She needs wood time in my opinion but has a pile of potential. Plenty of drive and nice little tree dog. This cross could be the real deal. I'm not crazy on line breeding this tight but can see how it might be a real good cross. I'm curious to see what all comes out of this litter. Good luck with em John.
Thanks David. Speaking mighty softly of ole Jewell. Last time I looked she was 6th in the State race in West Virginia with you only hitting the local hunts. lol. She's a nice female. You are right about Snapper. She needs more woods time but has a ton of ability. Her main problem has been her heat cycle times of late sping and late fall, my two favorite times of the year to hunt. This breeding should affect that and I plan on hunting her regularly into the winter after she weans these pups. I am hunting Max more regularly now, he was laid up for the biggest part of a year before I got him, and I am liking him more every time I hunt him. If these 2 dogs were unrelated, or not 1/2 brother and sister, they would still compliment each other. Being 1/2 brother and sister will not hurt anything, it will strengthen it in my opinion.
For the record, me and David are not related. lol. We do both enjoy a good Bluetick Hound though.

I'd like to say that although I did not train Nt Ch Maximillion, Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Clear River Diamond Jimmy HTX2, Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Smokey River Git'R'Done Maxy HTX2, or Gr Nt Ch Clearfork Wild'N'Blue Snap HTX, I own or have owned and hunted these dogs quite a bit. I have had Little Snap since she was a puppy and my Dad and myself were the breeders of Maxamillion (Max) and Little Snap (Snapper). I do have a pretty good idea of what was under these dogs hoods and what traits that they have to offer. There will be some good ones in this cross for sure.
Here are some accomplishments from some of the dogs in the pedigree.
Maximillion - High Scoring Bluetick 2 years at the Spring Breed Classic.
Jimmy - Grand Night at 26 months old.
Maxy - 2007 Queen of Hunt National Bluetick Days, 2007 Wisconsin Sporting Dogs High Scoring Dog of Hunts for the State, 2007 & 2008 Qualified for World Hunts, 2010 AKC Bench Show Spectacular Bluetick Race winner.
Clear River Diamond Jim - Top 20 UKC World Hunt
B&D's Spike - 2005 National Grand Nite Champion Bluetick
Wild-N-Blue Lou - 2004 Overall National Grand Night Champion
Clear River Diamond Jim II - 2002 National Grand Night Champion Bluetick
Clear River Curlee - 1998 High Scoring Bluetick female UKC World Hunt, 1998 3rd Place Purina Race
Smokey River Cheifs Bl Dancer - 1997 2nd Place Purina Race
Spare Time Spanky - 1980 2nd Place Purina Race, 1990 3rd Place Purina Race
Rambo II, Cheif, Tramp, and Spanky, Curlee and Lou are on or were on the Historical reproducers list. Easy, Spike, Slammer, and KC have also appeared on the Current Reproducers list.
Bottom line this cross is stacked with winners locally and nationally and have reproducing hounds behind them.

These look like some very nicely bred pups! I can't wait to see some pictures of them. Will you be taking deposits?
Thanks A&S_Fowler. I think this cross has the potential to produce some above average to outstanding hounds. I am mainly a pleasure hunter but I like an action packed dog that is more of what some would call a competition hound but are still fun to hunt. All but one of the pups are open spotted with only one of them being blanket backed. All have a wide blaze down the middle of their heads and the majority are starting to blue up and they are 3 weeks old today. 2 or 3 of them are probably going to be just lightly ticked. I need to find my camera from where I just moved and I will get some pictures soon. A $50 deposit will get a person on the list in the order that I receive deposits. I plan on keeping one or two of them and I am supposed to be receiving deposits this week on a male and 2 females. PM me for my address if interested. Thanks.

Ohio Valley Blue Little Snap on the tree (Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Clear River Blue Diamond Jimmy HTX2 x Gr Nt Ch Wild-N-Blue Snap HTX) on the tree.
Nt Ch Douglas' Maxamillion (Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Clear River Blue Diamond Jimmy HTX2 x Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Smokey River Git'R'Done Maxy HTX2) on the ground.
Max was out of shape when I took this picture and is more of an up on the wood tree dog than this but haven't gotten a picture of him lately.

Those are some beautiful pups. Will you be posting picture of the males and females separated?
Thanks Dave, you have got that right. The runt is in the feed pan but the other 9 are nice solid pups that will be eating me out of house and home before too long. lol.
