I'll bet that bearhide worked just fine as long as you use it when its fresh. When we did our drags here in the Swan years ago we would just go to the local taxidermists and pick up whatever trimmings he had laying around from spring bear season.

Looks awesome on the wood. It really does my heart good to see and hear that people are happy with hounds from my lines. I never thought about bearhunters trying them, but I am glad you got her and she is pleasing you. Get some pics of her on a bear, I would love to put some in my scrap book.

Gate was 109 people. Dogs entered in events was well over 100!!

Shane if you go back In Hobos pedigree you will find Allegheny Missy.She was a local bred dog from here.

I researched it a few years ago. She was one I could not find much info. on. A few of the pups from this last cross are wired 220 like Belle. She is a looker, she was just way to high strung for me. Glad she is doing well, ya'll keep me up to date.
