The "NEW" List

I got it,I got It. There are definitly some dogs that have moved up and there are some new faces on both lists. Some studs that we better be trying out also. Great to see who owns them and where they came from also.

Are you going to post it for everyone to see or are you going to just tease us with it???.......Are the newer dogs on the list out of older dogs on the list or are they just "out of the blue" crosses? Richard the answer to all of the questions you asked is..Yes !!

The list is for the top reproducing 50 males and top 50 females. The list also reports the current owner and the breeder of the dog in addition to the total number of pups produced. The requirements to make the list were as follows.
Dog must have had at least one offspring make NiteCh or GrNiteCh in the last 5 years, The dogs are listed in order from1 thru 50 starting with the dog that has produced the highest number of GrNiteCh and NiteCh combined and going down from there. Ties are broken based on highest % of titled offspring.

I will post it along with the list from 2 years ago so we can see if we are getting any better at the breeding thing. Just a note; it took 4 titled offspring to make the top 50 male list and 13 of the 50 males had less than the 100 pup limit that is required to make the Bloodlines list. Interesting..

according to % and the reproducers list yes it is, but if you step back and look at it I think not.

8 of 10 were unable to title out. if you sold the litter to 10 people who competition hunt 8 of them were dissappointed.

I know some have a win and are looking for a first, some got hit on the road, some didn;t get a chance ...bla bla bla

it is the same across the board for all breeds with these excuses.

but the top #$%&&@* Breed males are in the 20% range. Why are the top redbones in 12%-2% on the top 10 reproducers list?

lets get some reproducers in the 20% range redbone people!

We all know we can't compete with the walkers.bla bla bla. as some say
I think we're doing pretty good just looking at % , if we took the top ten by % all would be over 10% and as high as 18.2% we just produce a lot less pups. It may sound like an excuss but it is the truth. Also % tend to go up as more pups finish out at least for the good reproducers that is how it has worked.

A top producing TW will have about as many pups as the top ten Redbones combined. With many top comp .type bred females .But % arent much better . But you take a dog with 2000 pups 10% titled pups and half of those titiled pups are females thats still 100 chances to breed to a top female out of one stud dog . If they are bred twice 200 chances and so on .

I listed the requirements. living isn't one of them . Offspring that have earned a hunt title GrNiteCh or NiteCh in the last 5 years is what is required.
