Mark Crafton Memorial hunt!

This is our 2nd annual memorial hunt in honor of Mark Crafton! We are raising money with this event to help with the expenses of a local mom and grandmother Shirley Sanders in her battle with cancer.
We will have a bench show followed by a treeing contest then the night hunt. We will have food, raffles and games as well. The bench show winner top male and female will each receive a hat, trophy, and 50# bag of dog food. The overall winner of the treeing contest will receive the same as will each cast winner. The overall hunt winner will also take home a brand new husky brand dog house (still in the box for easy hauling ,but some assembly will be required at home). One of the raffles will be your choice of a Glock 17 gen 3 9mm, or a Retay 12ga pump shot gun. Each entry will get a Mark Crafton Memorial T-shirt and 1 ticket in the gun raffle. All kids present 15 and under will be entered in a free raffle for a live trap.
March 2, 2024 at Crafton's Auto in Van Buren, MO 63965 weather permitting. If unfavorable weather we will post the new location on here.
Food will be ready to serve at 3pm

Please note that this is NOT a ukc sanctioned hunt but we will be following the ukc hunt rules. This is open to all breeds, whether they are hound or not. Mean dogs or handlers may be disqualified and told to leave. This is a family event and there will be No alcohol, vulgarity, or bad behavior allowed.

Just over 1 week away! March 2 2024 everything begins at 3pm. Bench show followed by the treeing contest, then raffle drawings and the hunt! Food will be ready to serve by 3pm and will continue to be served until it's all gone or no 1 is left hungry.

This Saturday is the event! We are expecting good weather, food and a crowd! Come on and join us!

We are getting ready for our 3rd annual Mark Crafton Memorial hunt. We will have a youth bench show as well as bench show! Also we will have the treeing contest again as it was very popular last year! March 8 start serving food at 12pm, bench show starts at 3pm, treeing contest starts at 4pm, hunt deadline is 5pm. What is a treeing contest?

It's where we hang a coon or pelt with coon scent up in a tree and see which dog does the best job treeing on it.

Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that we just got a donation from Jay Williams for a stud use on ch nitech williams blue Vegas! It will be raffled off at 5pm March 8. Any one thinking about joining us, this will be a good opportunity to win a breeding to Vegas!
