Gr. Nt. Ch. Gr. Ch son of Triple X is in Iowa

Dual Grand Deepwood Tree Chopin Grizzly is in Iowa.

Grizzly has been a nice addition to our kennel. Shane Glenn called and we decided to give Grizz a chance at dual residency.

He will live in Iowa from now until November. He will be at Western English Days in November and then go home until after the Alabama State Hunt in March.

Grizz is a direct son of Historical Reproducer Timber Valley Triple X. He is a daughter of Ch. Grand Night Champion Thrasher's Coosa River Sandy

Sandy is a direct daughter of Grand Night Champion Grand Show Champion Grand Field Champion Grand Water Champion Eric's All Grand Casper. Casper was a littermate brother to 4 way grand Timber Valley Hanna. Hanna and Casper spent many nights in the woods together and raced each other to become 4 way grands. Casper was raised and trained in Iowa then sold. He was a super nice male dog which I spent many nights following or competing against. Sandy's mother is a nt. Ch out of St. Nick.

St. Nick was also born in the same kennel as Casper, Triple X, Queen, Hanna, and many more.

Grizz is in this kennel for one reason and one reason only. He is directly out of Triple X on the top and on the bottom he has a double shot of Timber Valley blood. I felt that he belonged back where his roots were. He is now sleeping in the same Kennel where many fine hounds were born.
You will be hearing more about this male. He is bred to reproduce. And I predict he will cross extremely well with all Briar Creek and Wilcox bred females.
Look back at History and study up.... How well did Timber Valley Females cross with Briar Creek and Wilcox males? Then what will happen when a Timber Valley bred male crosses with Briar Creek and Wilcox bred females?
He is not at stud at this time, but we definitely have something here in Iowa that is worth considering.

Please Keep Grizzly in Mind when planning future English Crosses. He will be put to public stud in the near future.

He has a lot of good blood to offer today's hounds. He has a head full of brains and a heart full of drive. He improves each night I hunt him.

30 years ago I tried to convince people to come to Iowa and breed to a hound by the name of PINE KNOB DURANGO.....I knew what he had to offer the breed.

I have not even thought of promoting a stud dog until this dog came around. Don't take my word for it.... drive to Iowa and hunt with him a night or two... There is no way this dog should be overlooked by SERIOUS breeders. He is for REAL..... I am not saying this dog is perfect and by no means will I ever say that... BUT I know what it takes to be a coondog. THIS DOG HAS WHAT IT TAKES!

He has 10 out of 16 Hall of fame names in his third generation.
He has an unheard of 7 out of 8 Hall of Fame names in his second generation
He has 2 out of 6 Hall of Fame names in his first generation.

He has a loud mouth that will not be drowned out at the tree.
He has an open track mouth that is nice to listen to.
He has a locate a kid could call.
He has the accuracy it takes to be successful in the night hunts.

He will keep improving as he gets into shape. Each night we go to the woods we learn new things about Grizz. He is a true pleasure to have in the kennel. The same kennel where his Daddy, Grandma, and Great Grandma were born. He is home!!!!!!

Some guys are busy looking for that "old" blood .... don't look any further... here it is... alive and young... don't overlook this dog... We have no plans on collecting him for the Future.... it is about the here and the NOW!!!!

Get Ready to put a little GRIZZ in your kennel.

Thanks buddy.... We hope to do a little more winning with him FIRST. But I'm sure he will throw coondogs when he gets a chance.
We sure would like to put a little bit of Grizz/Sue pups in the deep south.

Thanks for the PM's and calls about Grizz. He is still in Minnesota with Cole and Jason Boughton, but he will be home around May 27th.

If you are in the area and want to see him go just shoot me a text.

We have 3 females lined up to breed to him this fall after the world hunt.

He is with Cole and Jason Boughton for another week. I am sure they will take you out with Grizz.

Shoot me a text with your number and I can definitely get you hooked up. Or if you want to wait until he comes back to me in central Iowa we can cut him loose anyway you want to see him go.

We have nothing to hide, no dog is perfect, but he definitely knows how to find a coon and get him treed.
