If you like Rambo 2, Uchtman, and Smokey River breeding then you might find some interest in this cross.

Hoss has been dead for around 5 years. Shame on us for not continuing to promote him like we should have. He had 90 something pups when he died. I checked a while back and if he had just his 100 he would have came straight on the reproducers list at around 6 or 7. That is not counting the 5 or 6 dogs out of him that just lacked a cast win to be titled. He was a coon dog that could produce a coon dog! We have really not had what I call a real deal coon dog since him and the dogs we were hunting then.

We have been planning on using some frozen semen for sometime. We saw Lace come up for sale and liked the breeding she had and thought it would work well with Hoss. We got her Saturday and she is already coming in. So she is headed to the vet Wednesday. We have our fingers crossed that this works. This cross is starting to get us excited again.

If anyone is interested in a pup from this cross just let us know. It will be some time before we know what we will sell and the price.

What u guys looking to get out of the pups we have lots of Rambo blood including hoss and white river sugar up close in are males pedigree. Had a female directly off of hoss she was one of the best females we ever owned. I’ve got semen out of a male directly off Rambo 2 as well saved

I'm not sure what they will be. It all depends on if we get her bred and then how many. They will be higher than we normally sell pups for. We are going to have a bunch of $ in getting them here.

Hoss was from the same cross as Davis s White River Salin sadie. He had the ability to reproduce!

All interested.

We have had a lot of calls and messages about this cross. At this time it did not work.. We thought Lace was coming in. She has been at the vet for over 2 weeks. Her levels never dropped or a cycle. She also had an infection that could have caused it not to work. We decided we had already spent enough for now for no results. We are going to hunt her back up and try again later.
We are in the mood to raise some hoss pups. If anyone know where there is a sure enough good female and interested in pups let us know and we can discuss. Last I checked Hoss only needed a few more pups and he would have his 100. His % is high enough that he should go straight on the list when he hits his 100 pups.
