She has only been in one hunt and had some issues but the guys on the cast were impressed with how fast she gets hooked lol

Bear and I will be there the week of April 8-13th. He is only 1 yr old but he is all that I have. Can Kelly and I stay in the trailer?

You don't know what you'd be missing. Either way I'm fairly certain not many will get struck on her, it's kinda in the blood . If one does , I can do ok on a grill. Might have to wrap something in bacon to get it to taste good but that's not usually a problem. The real trouble is getting ahead of those Illinois boys in the food line. Might not be any left. Darrin , Dean!!!!

Dan , most people "not You" don't get up early enough to catch me eating anything. I have found that at about 6.00Am you can cook almost anything you want and nobody else will ever figure out where the "bacon wrapped deer tenderloins went. LOL

Oh yes I remember that well, thankfully Kelly and I had eaten our first breakfast a couple hours earlier that day or we would have been hungry that morning!!! LOL

Dan, If I remember right it was 3 breakfasts . I got up early about 6:00 am and fried up the tenderloin we had talked that kid out of the night before and when that was gone we went to your secret place for breakfast about 8:00 am. Then we came back for the regular 10:00 coon hunters biscuits and extra,extra sweet gravy . Man was I full after that.

It was a lot of fun that morning, you and me were the only two to get all three breakfasts. I'm not sure those other guys really believed we did all that. Except maybe Scott. He knew the tenderloins were gone and so were we. Good times at the cabin.

You guys are gettin confused

The powdered sugar gravy was made by Murphy out in Steady's
barn. Remember he went up to the house and got what was suppose to be flour from Steady's wife. He kept adding more and more flour (not), but it just would not thickin up. Finally after adding baking soda it started to look like gravy. We said man this sure is some sweet gravy, Murph says oh thats just that maple seasoned sausage your tasting. Well I know I had more energy than superman and couldn't set still for several hours after eating 3 big helpings of those sweet biscuits and gravy. Then that evening while coonhunting "CRASH" I couldn't hardly walk out of the woods. Had to quit hunting that night by 9:00 O'clock. Man I was tired.
It's just been too long since we all got together up there in Michigan. We better get up there again next fall.
