Have you all read about the Pre-Entry clubs using W-9?
Right now it’s up to the club to offer pre entry. But will Kennel clubs all go to this. Could this hurt or help clubs?

The reason for the W9(I work in accounting, payables specifically) is because UKC is receiving the payment then turning around and paying the clubs. Funds aren't going directly to the clubs. So UKC has to determine the club status-not for profit, LLC, partnership or corporations, for 1099 submittal at the end of the year.
As far as clubs doing it, smaller clubs with small shows, I doubt they will get on board and use it. Larger shows, as we know, have low volunteer rate and would utilize any tool to make it easier on them to secretary an event. In AKC that's why we use superintendents-they get to do all the grunt work with entries, premiums, etc.
