Purple
Notice some of the new lights have a purple light. Exactly what is it used for?

UV purple for observing fluorescence?? That's the only thing I can think of. Red is best for seeing at night which is why the military uses it. Something to do with the rods in our eyes and red doesn't react like other colors do causing our night vision to increase. Probably why raccoons look at it too. Yellow/orange doesn't attract bugs like lights that are more white blue cool based do and purple would fall into the attracting. That's why bug zappers are bright white, blue or purple.
There is a thing about mosquitoes being repelled by purple. So use I guess use your purple light to repell mosquitoes while attracting other insects and search for your coons and bodily fluids with the purple and your light will be pretty too. I think I may get one for myself!
