Shedding
Is it normal for a Bluetick to shed year around? 21 months old basically outside dog. Housebroke and comes in every morning for breakfast, and to get brushed. She gets a shower every 7 to 10 days. Showers depend on weather conditions and how much mud from hunting.
She sheds a comb full every brushing/combing. Both long coarse and fine short hair. Hair coat is shinny. Just wondering if this is normal hair lose.
I'm a Corvid shut in with to much time to think! LoL!
Thanks

Our dogs shed a good bit year-round. At normal times for seasonal shedding they lose an awful lot of hair and it gets into everything. I'm surprised they have any left. They live in the house so it's easy to notice, probably not so noticeable with kenneled dogs.
