Congrads to Laura Grisham to winning her cast at the Wentworth MO Super Slam on Saterday night. They also placed first at an RQE in Oklahoma. He likes one win of being a Grand Nite. I don't own the dog, but have hunted with him a lot and handled his mother in a few casts. He can run a track most can't open on and will get it treed.

Does this dog open on those tracks that other dogs cannot smell???? If so them would I be correct to assume he cold trails?? If that is in fact the case that he does cold trail on tracks most other dogs cannot open on, then I would certainly appreciate seeing his pedigree along with where it is that You believe that cold trailing/ cold nose comes from. That is a commodity that is getting hard to find, and I like a cold nosed bound. Thanks in advance for responding!!

He is out of Justin Martins GRNT Timber Tiger and GRNT Grishams Bar G Nancy she is out of Water Oak Blue and not sure of the female.

I have seen him run a track that my dog couldn't open on for the first 5 minutes. He doesn't straddle a track I promise you. His mother has more drive to go hunting than about any dog I have hunted with.
I hunted with another dog out of Blue this winter and was a very busy dog that night. We caught 2 on the ground, treed 5, and got a slick tree in a 2 hour hunt with the leaves off.
