Heartworm treatment

Has anyone had or know anyone who has done the 3 injection treatment at the vet for heartworms? Would like to know how it worked out and if they were any noticeable or major side effects.

I had to do it once. It worked out just fine. Keep the dog on Doxy the entire time.

Dog came back and was as good as ever.
