Pup barked out

Got a 4 month old pup I sold his litter mate and this sucker been throwing a fit and done barked his self out.
Any suggestions

Before i put a bark collar on one i put a shock collar on and teach him to shut up when i tell him too.If that dont work then a bark collar.Also the stick and boot method can work.This method works best in the middle of the night and your only wearing your underwear.

Before I did anything that might have negative effect on the pup, I would get another pup. The pound has plenty, cheaper than a bark collar.
