What to breed to?

Thinking of breeding my treeing walker gyp when she comes in heat this March she is heavy coma on top and mojo on bottom. Anybody have any suggestions other than bone?

Y'all know any thing about the reezen dog in Oklahoma?

Posted by Redneck Mafia on 11-25-2015 09:24 PM:

David has sent Reezen to Louisiana . Reezen throws tree dogs . All depends on what your looking for in a pup as to what direction you should go . Most every stud if the owner is honest can tell you what traits are typically put in his pups .

Reezen

My hound out of Reezen was an exception, he is a track hound, work any track out there. He's a good tree dog, not hard but steady and accurate. Could be a little gamey but a coon dog.

She has a pretty good mouth. Not one that will run by a coon just to get deep leaves with her nose on the ground. She is pretty accurate. She is just 2 years old. She is out of a male out of legend so she is heavy coma on top and a female out of mojo

I would look at Power Pack or Overdrive

Call Chad Medlock and ask him was crosses nice on Legend females. 417-260-1712. He's got one there that would probably cross nice on her.

Wondering how a lipper bred dog would cross with her?

Posted by John Carroll on 12-29-2015 08:17 PM:

Years ago I hunted Lipper dogs a good bit.

The major hole in most of them was that they were trashy suckers.

Some of them were too track minded.

Typically if you got one that was a tree dog and had sense enough to be broke, they were dandies.

Yeah I had a little female one time that had some lipper blood in her and she was wired tight she would run circles in the pen all day never could get her to stop even if you hunted quite a bit finally ran herself to nothin.

Come go hunting with my bark dog he is 9 can still get it done with the best of them also will show you three dogs out of him that has wins with good scores that was got with the leaves off they will all go by themselves with dogs in the box and will have real live coons in their trees if guys would go hunt with all these stud dogs and their off spring I guarantee we would have a better quality of dog. My dog is Fletcher's stylish jake on the bottom he is a gr nt gr sh and pkc ch.

I'd say the majority of the Reezen pups are out of Trackman females.Which is prolly why they have so much tree power.Half my litter turned out pretty balanced the other half were culls. Some nights that tree power can help and some nights it hurts.lol.

Look at the results of the reason pup hunt. The dogs i have hunted with out of him are tree happy and likes the possum. Will not own another one. Look at redneck mafia now his pups are winning a lot.
