New Owner
I have recently bought a leopard hound that is 7 yrs old. The original owner is 81 yrs old and has owned the hound since he was a puppy. My question is, can I still have him registered in my name since its been so long? This dog was the old mans personal hound and he just never sent papers in. I do have the signed puppy papers that was given to him from the breeder.
pretty sure u can w/extra fee...check w/ukc on amount since your pup papers r probably outdated as far as price goes... don't quote me until u check w/ukc but i think it costs $40 in your case.

Yeah, I don't see why there would be a problem other than you have to pay the $40 instead of $20 since the dog is over the age limit. That's what I think anyway. Probably if you post your question on the registration forum you can get a for sure answer without having to call them.
Hope your leopard makes you happy!
Should not be a problem
Should only cost a little more but not be a problem. Where did you get him and how is he bred?
