Magnum vs Garmin?

Does the new Garmin truck antenna made by Magnum get any better reception the the short one Garmin made? I have the Garmin and was curious if it was worth trading up.

i have a magnum i like it the guy i hunt with has the garmin sometimes he looses the dogs i dont if that helps an on your collars switch to tuff skin antenna;s also helps alot hope it helps

Where Do You Get The Magnum Antennas From

Look up Magnum telemetry.com They make a magnetic whip set up for Garmin. A friend told me to go buy any mobile antenna with whatever style mount I desire and he could put a sma connector on. He said he's getting 9 miles line of sight range. Might add mobile antenna in the 150 range.
