Looking for a hound with a little me too in it

Probably sounds crazy but I need something with a little me too in it. I've got a young dog that can tree his own coon and doesn't need any help but lately he's been trailing out coons an then getting them to a certain point and smelling them in the air and stalling out. He'll just stay in one place and wind tree and not pick out a tree. I know he should eventually figure it out but he's making a bad habit of this. I'd like to have something I could fire and it would go to him when he bogs down and help unravel it. He's all of got to hunt and he had been doing great, still treeing a few coons but I know this would help. Pm what you have, doesn't need to be a world beater just something that can help out a 14 month old pup. I wouldn't even be turning them together until the pup bogged down.I won't need something for long so I don't need the best. thanks for reading.

Thanks for the input but I've tried that several times already. I can make him leave, and quit standing on his head, but it's not helping him any. I've been through this twice before but I had a purty decent older dog to help me.
