Gun Control

10 to 15 thousand people are killed in drunk driving accidents in the US every year. Very restrictive laws to stop and punish the drunk drivers have been passed and the police strictly enforce them.
But not one person has even mentioned restricting alcohol or automobiles. Now why is that?

In the 70's the speed limit was temporarily reduced to 55 MPH to conserve fuel. Highway death numbers dropped drastically. When it was raised back to 70 MPH, death numbers rose again. I don't remember anyone wanting to go back to a 55 MPH speed limit.

Timothy James McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist responsible for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people, 19 of whom were children, and injured more than 680 others, and destroyed a federal building.
They didn't BAN Fertilizer.
