Hot spot on thigh

Dogs got a couple hot spot on thigh that will not go away. I thought it was his bedding so I changed from pine to cedar without any change. Been spraying some blue kote on it which normally heals it but this time isn't helping. Any other at home treatments to suggest?

Thanks

HOT SPOTS

I have had good luck with VETERICYN PLUS, also have used FURA-ZONE!

Be careful using Blue Kote!!!

I used it on an outstanding Running Walker coyote hound and when he licked it he got it in his nose which caused ulcers and “burnt” it so bad that he lost all ability to smell and I had to put him down.

I have had really good luck using Vetericyn

Order a fungal spray off Amazon, and the soap they use at hospitals. scrub it with the soap and apply to spray. Or scrub the spots everyday with selsun blue shampoo. But you have to put it on and let it sit at least 10 minutes before you rinse off. Skin infections are tricky, It took me 4 yrs to get mine right. It took doing this every other day for two months to heel mine, but we used everything under the sun for a few yrs before I read about this.

Hot Spots

White vinegar applied directly for three days will dry most up
If its a crusty, moist hot spot apply injectible pennicillin as a topical and there will be new hair growth in 3 days

NU-STOCK works wonders for me. I use it just like the tube says and it hasn’t failed me yet.
