Snap's first night in the woods.

Well, finally had enough of waiting for spring to come so we could put Snap in the woods. Said to heck with it and turned him loose with 'ol Shine and and Willy tonight. Still snow on the ground and 22 degrees out but Snap didn't seem phased at all. He ran treed with the other dogs like he had been doing it all his life! I honestly don't think I have ever been this excited about a pup, or seen this much out of one on the first night out, in my life! I am pumped! Thanks so much to Brent Stevens for giving us the opportunity to own him. I have a feeling the leopard breed will be feeling the after shocks of this cross for decades to come.

Snap...

It seems like the same story throughout that litter. I would assume there is one dud in that litter but I haven't heard about it. Let's see a picture.

Thanks

Thanks everybody! Last night I got a wild hair, and took Snap and turned him loose along a shelter belt bordering a corn field just to see what would happen. He hit the woods and never looked back, struck a hot track and ran it less than two hundred yards down through the shelter belt and treed in a big dozer pile. I took a video but have been having trouble with tinypic today. I will try again later. I can hardly wait for the sun to go down tonight!

...

I couldn't watch the first video for some reason.

If your lucky and the coon cooperate, Snap will have those first coon finds line up just right and you'll have a coon catching machine on your hands!
