Help Needed Please Read

I have a friend in Frederick Maryland who is in his 80s has been doing beagles all his life. A truck came to his house with 4 men in it. Tags from New York looking to buy a few hounds. He showed them some hounds and struck a deal for a red female 2 trial color females and a trial color male. He has never ever took a check for a dog and they talked him into it. Well guess what the check is no good not only is it no good the bank its from says Theres never been a account there from the persons name on check. So he is stuck I am asking if anyone knows of anyone who just accuried 4 beagles to please let me know. The check was for $1400. And they got good dogs from him. Just makes me sick how the world is today.

Did he get a tag # off the van? First thing I'd do is contact the law. Its a shame there are people like that in this world. Takes A real coward t rip off the elderly. Hoping your friend the best in catching these scum bags. Post some pictures of the hounds on here and else where. Hopefully someone will recognize them from a photo.

Post the name on the check and description of vehicle..or any other names he remembers and we all can start searching on Facebook an other beagle sites out there..all the information you have on the needs to go public

If you had Photo's of the Dogs you could also post them on here and Facebook has a Page called "Tri state beaglers" they could be posted on there as well. The more folks that know what to look for the better your chances. I would love to hear that you catch these fellows.

Also contact akc and UK to see if papers come in to transfer..then you can get correct name and address

Its a red dodge truck with new York or new jersey tags he's not to sure. I'd love to find them if not get the money get 1400 in whip azz. It be worth it.
