Sounds like Pride is a real nice Leopard, He was the high scoring Leopard at the UKC World hunt not the World Ch they are still hunting this weekend to crown the UKC World Ch. Next weekend here in Okla we will be having the ALBA World Hunt and I hope Pride makes it over to the hunt!

Looks like Jim won that one to...........Dang Jim when you gonna let some of those other leopard fellas win anything. Was the hunt in Tahlequah UKC sanctioned?

Pride looked good on Friday night he came in second in his Cast. Buck looked really good and won his cast on Friday night and then Saturday night ended up being in the top 3 and won his cast but he didn't have any plus points so we didn't Crown a ALBA World Ch this year. And no it wasn't a UKC sanctioned hunt but they both did a fine job from everything I heard!

If the hunt in Tahlequah was not UKC sanctioned how can u crown the UKC World CH? Wouldnt it be the ALBA World CH? Im just curious as to how this is working. Jim won em both so I dont guess it matters. But from my stand point Pride would be the UKC World CH Leopard and Buck would be the ALBA World CH.

The ALBA has a world hunt every year, not UKC sanctioned and just for leopards. There wasn't a world champion this year only a 1st place winner because no dog on the final cast got plus points (it's not UKC sanctioned but they hunt using nite hunt rules), the dog that got 1st was Jim Hill's Skyline Uncle Buck. Pride got high scoring leopard during the UKC World Hunt not UKC World Champ. That's basically what you said so you are right. In John's post that you quoted I believe he was meaning the actual UKC world hunt was still going on and that they were still in the hunt-offs for who would be UKC World Champion, which was Keegan's Let'n Loose Lyla.

I've spent many nights in the woods with buck he's by far best leopard I've ever seen. I was not aware that a leopard made the top 100.....what I ment by world ch was world ch leopard hound and that he is (pride)

Good deal! Never hunted with either one, but I've heard they are some good ones.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone . My dad really appreciates all of nice comments and support . He will be pushing Pride in the ukc hunts in the next few months to finish him to a Grand Nite . The next hunt Buck will attend will probaby Battle of the Breeds in Ada,Okla. In December. Once the leaves are off , I will probably put Buck in some PKC hunts as well . Thanks again to all . Ronnie
