Russo-European Laika - Puppies For Sale
The Russo-European Laika is a close relative of the Karelian Bear Dog of Finland. These two breeds are descended from the original Karelian Bear Laika, but have been separated into the Russian and Finnish varieties.
While the Karelian Bear Dog has been bred as a family pet and show dog for many years without as much emphasis on preserving its hunting abilities, the Russo-European Laika remains primarily a working dog and is still a result of strict selection and testing guidelines. (Our dogs come from champion blood…and have papers to prove.) The breed is traditionally used to hunt bear, boar, moose and other small and large game. Alert and territorial, the Russo-European Laika also makes an excellent watchdog and family dog.
Both parents of these pups were imported from Russia and are on location and available for viewing. Parents are both registered with FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) and with UKC (United Kennel Club). Litter is registered with UKC. Learn more about this awesome breed at:
