How often

Just wondering how often you charge your collars? I charge mine after every hunt so that I have a fully charged collar on my dog when I turn him loose. Guys I have talked to only charge when the battery is getting low. Is there any effect on the life of the battery?

Supposed to last 68 hours--

I check the 300 and only charge the collar when its down around a 1/4.

I know a guy who plugs his in when he gets home everytime hes done for the day and leaves them on until he reloads the next time.

I'm not a fan of leaving a charger on a battery without being around it to unplug when charged.

I know the most important thing is temp, not below 32 or above 104 and to put the clip on the collar BEFORE you plug into the outlet and when you unplug, besure to disconnect from the outlet before removing the clip.

I don’t charge mine everytime, but I also don’t wait until they are down real low. I guess I treat mine like my truck. When I get down around a half tank or so, I fill it back up.
I definitely don’t leave them on charge. I normally plug them up before going to bed and when I wake up they are fully charged and I unplug them.

Mione stay on charge. Light and Garmin. They have smart chargers. They don't over charge. When the green light comes on the charging stops.

As far as i know a charge is a charge, doesn't matter where the battery is at 1/4-1/2-3/4 they are only good for so many charges.
