Myasthenia Gravis
Just spent 3 months flat on my back being diagnosed with this autoimmune disease I have never heard of. Couldn't walk. Breathe or talk. By the Grace of God I'm home. I'm breathing on my own, walking some and able to talk. Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this disease. Kinda mimics MS for lack of o better description. Thank you
No experience but glad your back home and up and going some. Sounds like a rough thing to get!

I did a little reading on your illness and it doesn’t sound good…seems there is no cure for it…
If I were you and knowing there is no cure, I would start fighting it through better nutrition including vitamins and supplements…but first I would do the research and map out a plan…
I would start with my digestive system making sure it is in top working condition by using prebiotics and probiotics…different vitamins and supplements work in different ways…lots of good information out there…
I’m hoping the best outcome for you…
Back in 2008 I was diagnosed with cancer and went through the treatment…the cancer is cured but the after effects of the treatments are still with me but don’t slow me down much…when I left the hospital I told myself that whatever I was doing before I got cancer wasn’t working for me and afterwards I would be doing something different…what helped me most was when one doctor had the guts to tell me the truth and all the others told be what I wanted to hear…that dr. looked me in the eyes and said you’ll be back…they always come back…right then and there I made up my mind I wasn’t coming back…God would lead the way and give me the knowledge needed to do the right things to keep me cured from cancer…I thank God for that dr…he gave me the determination I needed…

Prayers going up.
My father was diagnosed with MG in 2015. He passed away from cancer a year or so later. Initially, we had thought he had had mini strokes until the dr's diagnosed the MG. He had to have a couple of IvIg (I think) infusions that would perk him up back to normal. I haven't looked lately but I know there was some promising research being done but I'm not sure how that has progressed.
Good luck!

Just wanted to thank you everyone for their responses and private messages. Thank you for for the healing prayers and well wishes. I'm fighting this disease with every ounce of energy I can muster. Slowly getting my strength back. Once again thank you all.
