Otc meds for dogs voice
Does anybody know any otc meds I can give a dog that barked her voice out. Or home solutions to help get it back. She barks whenever I'm not home to shock her so wanna get a bark collar and something to help her get it back quick.
a bark collar and rest,,,,,,,thats about good as it gets.anything you can do to keep the dog quiet.
Just type PREDISONE in the search box and you can find 2 pages about helping dog voice.

Call Conkeys they have Garmin rechargeable barking collars on sale.
I put my female on prednisone for recomended time and dosage. It made a big difference in her voice. Probably depends on the problems. Her cords seemed to be swelling after a tree or two. Much better now.
Prednisone For Dogs
The best luck I've had is PREDNISONE. 5MG TABLET
10 days 1 tablet each day.
5 days 1/2 tablet each day.
5 days 1/4 tablet each day.
Always do the complete treatment, even if their voice improves before you finish the 20 day treatment.
You usually can get it from a vet. It is a steroid, not very expensive.
I have had good luck with it.
