Don’t Want Negative Responses To Your Classified Post ?

There is a solution. After posting your classified, go to the Administration Box at the bottom of the page. It will allow you to close any thread that you originate. If you decide to go that route, it is recommended that your profile include an email address and that you post a phone number for those interested in your classified. They may contact you directly for more information. To do otherwise is an invitation for others to respond to your post. UKC cannot edit all differing opinions in response to a classified.

negative responses

I realize that this can be a hassle but if you are an honest breeder and seller there really shouldn`t be negative responses am I correct? On the other hand if somebody has been taken advantage of by a dishonest person from answering an add on here shouldn`t they be able to protect others from the same if given the chance. I know it's a buyer beware world out there but it is the chance someone takes when posting on a public forum both for the buyer and the seller. I guess what I`m saying is that allowing posts of warning just might keep some people honest. JMHO

We don't want to reward bad behavior

I understand there are honset and dishonset people on ever ends of life. I have seen some issues from people and recently been shafted dealing with someone from a add that was posted. There should be some way of protecting someone else dealing with dog dealers that will lie, and shafted honset buyers on this site. When someone lies and deceive someone there should be some means of at least protecting someone else from having the same thing happen. One way is getting the story out so someone else will have the knowledge of what happen. I enjoy and feel UKC is a great club, maybe some thought could be put into the future by UKC to help honset people. Thanks and Happy Hoildays to ALL.
