Ukc win ?

My dog has 66 UKC cast wins. Is it safe to say he has the most in UKC history? Is there anyway to find out something like that? I don't want to advertise it if he doesn't.

I don't have the ability to run a list of the top cast winners of all time, that would be something that Keri Schmidt would have to do. If you are interested, you can email her at kschmidt@ukcdogs.com.

I do know of one dog on the Hall of Fame list that has 68 cast wins, Hardys Fabous River Katie. I would think ol' Kraken is knocking on the door.

Previous to the Hall of Fame title and Grnitech x up to 5 not all wins were tracked. Wins made toward their original title of Grnitech then wins made at major events UKC had record of but many others weren't. It would be impossible to say what dog in throughout history had the most wins. I know just from our own personal dogs that several wins are not in their overall count.

That's kind of what I thought. I don't see any reasoning when prior to running for a Hall of fame title anyone woukd hit many hunts once a dog was Granded. You weren't even allowed to hunt Grands at local events unless it was a mini slam and few clubs hold those. All that was left was state hunts and major events. A person prior to allowing Grands would have had to travel the country to pile up many wins and lost very little. I'd think if a dog got to 70 it would easily have the record.

Probably so, keep rocking! There were those that had lots of wins trying to get the 1st to make them Nitech, I know a guy around here that had 17 before he finally got a his 1st place win lol.
There were very few on UKC's first count when they initiated the Hall of Fame title. I'm sure there would have been a few more that would have qualified if they had had record of all wins but prior there was no need to track them all.
