Beahvior Issue in 7 mo old TW

Just wanted some insight on what may be the issue with my 7 month old male TW. About 3 to 4 weeks ago he started barking and doing circles in his kennel constantly. I have taken him to the vet and he was parasite free to include worms and ear mites. I have even tried putting him on a chain thinking he doesn't like the confinement, he does the same thing circles and barking at the time he is doing circles. I take him hunting and he seems find, took him last night and he went 450 some yards with other dogs. ANY INSIGHTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Bored

Sounds like that he's getting bored. Try putting him in the pen and giving him a ball to play with. This is the first thing that came to mind.

Good luck,

Ron

Treadmill works wonders......physically and mentally.

What’s the area like where you live? Are you in a heavily populated area? Anyone close by that has any kind of high frequency alarm system? Is he the only dog you own? If so do you have space whereby you could try having another dog kenneled or tied out near him so he’s not alone all the time? Has anything changed in regards to his immediate environment that you know of? Have you made any recent changes in his feed that may have increased his energy levels? Do you hunt him often enough and long enough to keep any excess energy in check?

Take him hunting !
I have a pair of curs , if you don’t hunt them once or twice a week they are going to remind you it’s time !
