Your favorite dog.

Post a picture of your favorite dog,and why it is your favorite. If you don't have a picture, just tell why it is your favorite dog.I have really not had a favorite, just 4 or 5 good ones out of 30 or 40.

Here is a picture of my favorite hound and then probably the best hound that we have had the pleasure to put a leash on. Half brothers, my fav is my dog, who is on the right. He is not the coldest nosed dog, not the grittest bear dog (okay he is not a bear dog) and can be the most infuriating dog. But he is a nice cat dog, excellent locater, rigs, roads, will let the nieces pull him off the tree and all that kind of good stuff. He is a 110% give all cat dog and an 90% bear dog. Okay by me. The dog on the left was a do it all. You asked him, he would do it or give it everything he to try and do it for you. All he wanted to do was hunt and make you happy. These two were a hell of a bobcat team. I am sure they are not the best out there, but one's collars has a perment spot in the living room and the others will to when he passes over to the happy hunting ground to join his brother. The dog on the right will always wear my collar. The one on the left always did.

i miss this one the most- ol PUP

i guess he was a favorite because he was very good in all categories-

if i could change one thing he could have used a little volume on voice-hurt his voice somehow .was very loud as a pup

he was
fast, cold nosed , he would really move an old track fast-- bawl mouthed -super rig dog , gritty -easy to break off trash -good natured with other dogs -

he treed a bunch of bear alone - he treed some after extremely long races-- hunt was never over till u had him in the truck

ol jim johnson gave him to me as a pup- he called him pup when he brought him here and i never changed his name--- thats the other thing id change--

Great Question !!!!!

I have been thinking about this one for two day's. I have been torn between the Best Hound I ever had, the Best Reproducer I have every had and the Most enjoyable hound I ever had. I went with the hound that was the best over all. Light Foot Buggs. I hunted Buggs in 22 states from northern Wi. to southern Tx old Buggs was the Same every night no matter where you hunted him. And Buggs had a personality that I liked better than any hound I ever owned, Old Buggs was my favorite hound and my best friend.

Here he is, my best bud and the best hound I have ever fed. 100% no nonsence coondog. It took me over 10 years after I lost Racket to find a dog I liked. If Loose is the best I ever feed from now to the end, I will feel lucky.

It's kinda hard to decide around our house. We got a lot of nice dogs but I think GRCH'Pr'Timber Valley Wy. I like her because you can win on the bench or in the woods with her. And she's also the biggest sweetheart you'll find. She's a hard hunter. This is Looser's little sister. Here's a picture of Wy on the bench..
