Cat pics

Please post any pics of cats you've killed, be it lions or bobcats, etc. and pics of your dogs. I'd like to look at them. Cat hunting is something that really interests me, but I doubt I'll ever get to experience it.

Thanks!

i cant post pics?

Do you have them uploaded to Photobucket.com? It's easy to get them posted if they are uploaded there. Other than that, I can't really help you. I had to be told how to post pics.

I would really like to see them, though!

Idaho Lightfoot Snapshot & Idaho Lightfoot Whiplash

Brian and I treed this one last winter. He's the biggest lion either one of us has ever seen.

No, we had to let him go. We turned loose on him at daylight and didn't get to the 1st tree until a half hour before dark. Unfortunately he jumped out before the shooter could get there. Brian and I got to the 2nd tree about an hour after dark, so we had to pull the dogs off and let him walk. We can only guess what he might have weighed.

Two days later we took this lion that weighed 171 lbs. We are both convinced that the one we had to let go was considerably bigger. You can bet we will be back looking for him this winter.

All great pics! That giant lion is really something! No lions around here, but there are bobcats. I'm just not sure how plentiful they are. They are rarely seen, but I suppose that's cat nature.

Nice looking dogs too, everyone! Keep the pics coming if anyone has any more!

Toad

Dustin that lion you tree after dark is a toad! The one you got two days later's nice was it over 15? I have a friend that harvisted the number 3 lion in B & C in the late 60's or early 70's. He has it full body mounted it's awesome. I like the necks on the toads! Mark

I believe he was officially scored at 15 6/16. I know the pic that hellcat posted of the guy holding the lion was officially scored at 15 4/16.
