great homemade bait

this seems to work real well so i figured id share with everyone. i use it for bears but im sure it will work for coon and cyote also. it seems to keep the animals coming back for more.

4 bottles kero syrup
5 lbs of sugar
2 lbs of brown sugar
1 bottle of vanilla
4 packs of strawberry jello pouder


mix all ingredients in a large pot and boil it for awhile, untill it starts to get thick and tacky. get a baking pan or 2 plastic coffee cans ready, sparay them with cooking spray first. before pouring mix in one teaspoon of baking soda and mix well. it will foam up. pour into jugs or pan. if useing jugs u can put a wire in them so you can make a hanging treat after you cut the jug off. i prefer to put it in a pan and cut sections out
