Opening day Sept. 2012

We're off to a good start, dogs caught a small runner ( 80 lber ) than we turned loose at another bait and dogs caught a bigger one . This one tipped the scale at 420 lbs.

Location

Nice bear and nice dogs.Where in Ontario? I hunt near NorthBay off Hwy 63 near McConnell Lake.

We hunt from Lanark through Calabogie, Dacre on to Pembroke.
North bay is prime country . Do you use hounds to ?

Wish I hadI hounds but. I live in city in Southern Ontario. I do have a pretty Show Plott bitch that has never seen a bear. Looking for a Plott male to breed to. I hunted with Opimika Camp over baits. Nice to talk with you.

Grayhound54, I own both plotts in that picture . The female is a Gr.Ch. and quite a good little bear dog .The male on the other hand is a really hard going dog but in my opinion is not show material . If you're ever in the Cornwall area stop by for a visit.
