coon hunt

Suppose to be real nice this weekend, not much going on around here but coon hunting. I hear the mushrooms are up and the living is easy in the central Midwest. Good luck to all who are headed to a hunt this weekend lets hear about the scores and if you did any winning. Wish the full moon was down. Dogs can really travel on those light nights.

It's been hot and cool here. Treed on two oaks this week that would have been circled in a hunt . Put on fresh tick collars this week.
My friend has had a dog snake bit- I already miss early spring. Going hunting.anyway.

Weather sure is great this weekend down here in Tennessee. Bear and Sheba are looking real good right now. I wish that I had a big hunt to go to.

Smile 45 degree nights

45 degrees:
Dogs like the cool nights and I like the cool nights. No leaves on yet, or just a few. You can tell if the dog is right or wrong.
April is a great time to be in the woods with the dogs. Seems eveyone around here agrees. Lots of people running their dogs in April.
Mushrooms are up here now in east central IL. Found some greys and some yellow morel's yesterday evening.
