Hicks sniper duke

Hi wondering if anybody would have any info on what kind of hound duke made? I got a young dog out of him and I'm a little curious.

Duke

Duke was a good,solid,honest dog.He was a sneaky,tighter mouth type dog on a cold track and gave a decent amount of mouth on hotter tracks. He would drift ahead on cold tracks sometime and get treed.He was a one bark tree dog that would stay treed under pressure.I hunted him in hunts for Bill and put all wins toward nite champion on him except one. Duke did not always dominate,but he never made mistakes and if you scored 200+ in the first five minutes of the hunt,you would still have your points at the end of the hunt.Duke produced some pretty good dogs.Tracy and Ben Jones own a good nite champion dog called Hide off of Duke and a female called Nell off my old victor dog.I would call Duke a good consistent dog.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping my male turns out.

My neighbor has two out of sniper duke , well one might be out of wilderness Jim . But all I know Is loud bawl mouth and a good hard locate chop/bawl on tree , my pups is sniper dukes great grandchildren and they are cold nosed .

Sniper duke

My hounds grandfather is sniper duke.he looks just like him best coon dog I ever seen from rig to tree.he also is a great reproducer .he is reproducing great coon and bear dogs .cold nose and rig dogs. Naturals that start early.

Good to know my pups only been ran on bear, been doing good making the races with the older dogs.
