Prayer Request from Mom and Dad...

Mon and Dad called tonight and asked if I would post a request for prayer for a friend of theirs in Florida.
His name is Norm Messier.
Norm is a retired Connecticut State Trooper who was a Lieutenant. He is about Dad's age.
Norm has a bad heart valve and developed pneumonia. The DR's were waiting for him to recover from the pneumonia so that they could operate on him. He now has developed a blood clot in his left leg, and his leg is painfully swollen from his groin down.
Norm and his wife have been missionaries to Africa and other countries and he is a devout Christian.
He is afraid right now...the DR's haven't given him much hope and he told Dad that he doesn't want to die and leave his wife...
Mom and Dad are asking if you folks would please pray for their friend. I know that it's difficult to have faith for ourselves when we are sick...and it has to be a scary place that he is in right now...but I also know whom we serve and who our healer is. Please join me in prayer for Norm...Thank you all so very much.

We WILL Pray! First we will pray that Norm will feel no more fear and that his wife will feel that comfort as well....
We know pneumonia here... I (Heather) have had it a few times and I'm just 53... My mum has had it quite a few times now and in the begining of 2013 I asked my friends on here to pray for her. At 93... she was so very sick and became sicker at the hosp. getting hospital aqquired pneumonia on top of the first... while having COPD. Mum is now 94 and doing so well it is ridiculous... We hope that your parents and their friends can feel their Faith unite them... and bring them future good times......
