hicks plotts?

My neighbor and bill are good friends so my neighbor has 3 or 4 of his dogs and I kid you not all of them made coon dogs and not dogs that bark and tree coons I mean above average to very good. most was left on a chain to 1 year and still learned! Anyways does anyone use them for bear I thought bout buying one for bear thanks.
