I don't know about campgrounds. We always stay in one of the motels. If you tell them you are there for the hunt they will cut you deal, at least they have for the last couple of years. If you really wanted to camp out, they might let you stay at the club...I know there were a couple guys there last year that did.

I will check the hotels. I am the guy that was camping last year...everybody else bailed on me lol. I don't think I want to go that route again, lol!

Thank you sir, I am sure it will be a good time. From the reports Mr. Harris and myself have been receiving there will be an excellent turn out. The interest in the Leopard Cur over the past few years has went through the roof!

Mr. Harris has a lot of good information on the Leopard Cur. When I talked to him yesterday he said he had sent you some stuff and would give me a copy of the same material.

Also, I had the proofs made up today for "American Leopard Cur" t-shirts, licenses plates and decals. Hopefully should have some available soon. It will be a great way to promote our breed. I am showing the proofs at the hunt and hope they go over well.

Come on up -- Texas ain't that far! lol

Is the hunt going to be UKC sanctioned?

Posted by Jason Abbott on 03-02-2014 06:22 PM:

No it's not a UKC hunt. They'll have a couple cast in pleasure and a couple comp but overall it's a pretty small hunt. Its pretty much just a get together.

Mr. Harris said from the reports he had be receiving it would be a pretty large turn out. When he talked to me about guiding he said he already had 8 others lined up.

My wife and I will be there Friday night. Any hotels you guys recommend? Not sure if I can make it down in time for the Friday night hunt, but I'm going to try!

Hi Mike, I hope you're having a great winter!! I'll be getting another Leopard Cur sometime this year. Got a job offer last week up in Anchorage, AK, but I eneded up truning it down. Just a little too much of a pay cut. I'll probably regret it until I can get moved back out to Idaho.

My young leopard isn't ready for any hunts, but I would like to check out some other leopards hunting. Are you allowing spectators on the hunts?

Yes sir, you are more than welcome to spectate. Also most of our cast will be pleasure cast so feel free to hunt him in a pleasure cast. Last year I guided a pleasure cast and hunted an 11 month old Redbone I was working for a guy. So by all means bring your dog and come on.

Looks like with the weather I won't be down until tomorrow. Have a good hunt tonight!
