Ohio Hunting

A fellow recently told me there were some old strip mines in the Coshocton area that provide some good rabbit chases. Any information would be appreciated.

A good place to consider checking out is the AEP property down below Zanesville, Oh. They have a huge public area that includes a bunch of primitive camping sites. Haven't been there for years now that I live farther north. Ten years ago you just purchased a $5 permit at one of the local stores and you could come and go from the property all year long. Lots of fishing ponds and plenty of land to explore. Had some great times there! The camp grounds are free and you can come and go as you please but they only have a manual water pump and outhouses.

Here is a site to check out for more info.
