Can I enter the ELIMINATOR if My Dog Is Already Qualified?

YES! Even though qualified, a hound may enter and participate in the ELIMINATOR. The other event where qualified hounds may enter is the Don McVay Senior Memorial.

The rule "once qualified the hound may not enter another WQE" pertains to WQE only events.

Allen say a dog that places 8th overall is already qualified are u going to move the nxt dog up to the 8th qualifing position?? I no the dog wld keep his 8th overall placing posistion but im talking as far as the wqe championship pts!!??

Matt, any dog that wins its first round cast at the ELIMINATOR meets qualifying requirements.

That said, only those dogs placing in the top ten will receive Championship points and or wins. No other dogs move up as suggested.

Well I ask this question because last yr after round 1a and 1b was over they placed the dogs for the wqe that was before sunday and they had there top ten overall!!??

My quailfying sheet shows right where my two dogs finished on Sunday. hummmm.

Are you sure they didn't just do that for the sole purpose of completing the form where it asked for placement? I'm assuming they did, which is something that means nothing when it comes to processing it on our end. It would be okay to not list a placement on the Qualified Form or they could just write in "CW". Either way works.

First Round cast winners have met the qualifications for the World Hunt. A final ten placement in the event qualifies those dogs for championship points and wins.

Hummmm away jeff I was given a paper on sat placing me 11th for the wqe and my dog was beat out sunday???? It wld make sense to giv out the wqe papers on sat because the wqe wld be over after sat!! Just a question I thought I wld ask incase others was wondering the same!! I have been around for awhile I think l I no how it works jus thought id put it out there if newer guys was unsure shoot me dnt really care!!!!

Yes, you are correct. Qualifying slips could and should be filled out after the first round.

And yes, good question and reminder for those wondering. It's all good.
