Anyone ever seen?

Anyone ever had trouble with a females uterus protruding from their vagina? Any tips to help before taking her to the vet?

female with prolapse

I had a female that this happened to.The vet called it a prolapse. he told me that he could put the female organs back in. but he thought that evertime she came in heat it would probably happen. So I had her spayed. This happened to a buddy of mine female and he decided not to have her spayed, The next time she came in heat he breed her. Things worked out fine. It never happened again with that female.

Prolapse google it

Not all that uncommon and needs to be at the least sewen back in place. But like was stated most often dosent hold so have her spayed and she will be fine to go. But dont wait .... need s taken care of.

Ever seen this

Yes...in a one year old female beagle. Took her to vet. He took her into back office, came back with dog and vulva back in place and a tube of Vaseline as big as my little finger.
" $200.00 please and if comes back out just grease your finger and push back in with a downward push." When I got home, 25 minutes later, vulva out again. I pushed it in and down...one hour out again. This happened 2 more times. On my fourth try, as I was replacing vulva I could feel a pop/snap as the vulva popped ,,, UP,,, not down as vet advised.
This was 4 years ago Jan. 5th....never prolapsed since nor was she ever bred nor spayed. Never bred because she suffered cherry eye it both eyes before she was a year old...expensive little doggie. And yes, normal heat cycles every year since.
So I'd just grease my finger and have at it.
