Loss of a Good man

I got word that Mr. John McDill passed away this morning. He was a Christian and coon hunter. Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.

Mr. John McDill and his family are some outstanding people. I could listen to Mr. McDill's stories for hours and still want to hear more. He was a good man who will be missed.

A few more words:

John McDill's Legacy
I looked the word legacy up and found that it had several meanings and there were numerous words that could be used in place of legacy. The best of those words at least for me was gift. As I thought about Mr. John this morning it was very clear that those who met the man received a gift. In 5 minutes you knew this was a person with a light shining inside. He would almost glow when discussing God, family, friends and coon dogs. If you were with Mr. John 10 minutes or 10 hours you were going to hear about a Great God, a loving family, good friends and some of the best coon dog stories you could ever wish to hear. Like all great oracles Mr. John didn't just tell you a story he took you with him on an adventure. I am not able to talk about the man with the depth of those who got to share his daily life, but as an outsider who was invited in, it was gift to have known Mr. John McDill.

Love and prayers to my Mississippi friends.
Mr. Bob

So sorry to hear that. I am glad I had the opportunity a few years ago to meet him and his wife and Randy when I took our Ky Rain to MS. He took great pleasure in showing me his hounds and telling stories about their hunts. They will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord give them peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Praying for the McDill family. Never got to meet John McDill but got a yard full of leopards that are the results of his efforts. Thanks John McDill.

Had the privilege of meeting Mr. McDill several years back. It was I believe his first leopard event. We were at Filmore Lake in Illinois. He hunted with Jug/John Wick that night. Mr. McDill was a southern gentleman and a pleasure to visit with. We corresponded on occasion over the years. It was always a pleasure. Glad I got to meet him for sure!

Praying for the McDill family. I never met John McDill but I have never heard anyone ever say anything but great things about him so that to me says a lot!
