Best bet is Randy Harris. He's about 4 hours north of you. Plenty of dogs out of Eli and others.

Don McVay has ,World Hunting Beagle Champion Sundown Willie Brown. He is out of IFC Greenbay Butkus and GRAND Performance PACK Champion ,HBCH Sundown Miss Ellie. Fresno Oh
If you are serious....
If you are serious about your search. I can help you get in the right direction....call me 304-694-6331.
I may not have the stud you are looking for but can steer you towards the one you mentioned or others that throw a quality pup.
Just because you went to Mr. Kuklenski....doesn't mean you have the quality Mr. Kuklenski produced...that speaks for me as well.
Thanks!

Kelly,
I agree with Eric. Go to the source. Joe has been awesome with us over the years. As for other studs off Joes breedings I can say Randy Harris in VA and Tim Ogrady from Ohio have Green Bay hounds. Both guys are straight up honest. We have UKC World Champion Sundown Willie Brown which is off Green Bay Butkus.
Nothing against Mr. Hall but there is nobody better than the owner to tell you about their hound. It wont take you long to recognize the honesty these men have.
Good luck.
call me sir.
I am not in this to make a dime....NO QUESTION Joe K. is the architect behind it all...NO ONE other deserves much credit in other ways. Stamping a Green Bay name DOES NOT put the quality in them JOE KUKLENSKI did.
I have ran with Butkus, Eli, and several other FC's from Joe's kennels.
Near FC Green Bay Hail Mary(own her now), FC Green Bay Million Dollar Baby(owned her), FC Green Bay Rack of Bones, Green Bay Nova(owned her), Green Bay Sako(own him now). FCGD Green Bay Walk On(own him now). Also owned Green Bay Jimmy( Joe K got him as a pup from me, from one of the females I bought from him).
Forgot about Green Bay Sassy Magoo...littermate to Butkus, owned her as well and had several litters off of her. Also ran with Green Bay Deanna Favre...littermate to Sassy and Butkus.
More informatively I have had pups(multiple)....off of Butkus, Shooter, Paw King, Eli, Green Bay Walk on.....I still own Green Bay Walk on as noted above. Also have pups now off of FCGD Green Bay Huntem Up Max.
I have bought multiple hounds directly from Joe K. which still are our hunting stock today. I am among many who Joe K has helped get a good hound...he has produced some quality dogs and still does. I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR the dogs...they just suit us.
I have and will critically continue to evaluate these dogs...they are good hounds...far from perfect.
As you noted on Tyke...I have owned two off of him directly and my brother is running a male off of Tyke now for a friend.
I am not speaking from hearsay...call and I will openly and honestly tell you the good and bad I have seen....nothing to hide.
ANY AND ALL welcome to run here and we will have a great time at any time....no excuses....we turn them loose.
Thanks and take care!!

I will have to agree with Jim Hall and Dave McVay go directly to the source my kennel is full of Green Bay hounds I do not take no credit for what has been produced that all goes to Joe Kuklenski and I in no way shape or form take the green bay stamp as my own
I would strongly encourage you to give Joe a call but feel free to call me anytime and you are more welcome to come run with me anytime you want Kelly

I wasn't implying that Randy or anyone else knew it all or was the best. I simply saw where Kelly was from and figured 4 hours wasn't too far away to find someone that may have something from the aforementioned kennel/line of dogs that could help him out.

Thank you!
Thank you Kelly for being a man of your word and showing up as you said you would...lol. Nowadays that seems to be a major issue with many folks.
I am confident we will remain in contact and you are always welcome to come here and see hounds run and bring some along.
I hope you get a nice litter off of Sako and Nina and I hope little Silas turns out to be a next generation Stud dog for you all!
Take care!

You are Welcome!
Kelly,
Its a pleasure dealing with guys like you! Who take it serious and stand behind there word.
Little Silas' sister is already jumping and running rabbits and I am confident with time he will do the same.
Sako is doing what he is bred to do on a regular basis and I thank you for the breeding to him and the compliments on him...he is a pretty good dog. With his ancestry I do not see how he won't produce some really nice hounds.
I hope you can get back up in the spring and we will run some hounds!
That offer goes for others as well. Just because these hounds are AKC only(reputation of medium speed....lol). I am confident they run as much rabbit at as quick a pace as possible....they have gears...full tilt running when scent is high and geared down walking when the scent is weak. We watch it every time we go and are very happy to have these hounds. Ice, snow, dry, wet....it isn't always internet running....but they can get it done.
Thank you again and good running to all!

Old thread - looking for help
I realize it has been years since this thread was touched. Presently, I am running a 6 year old with a top side full of Green Bay Blood. I have also spoken with Joe regarding future breedings.
Looking to get my hands on a Green Bay bred pup this spring/summer. Prefer a pup as I enjoy starting them myself and have summers off to do so.
If anyone has any leads as to future Green Bay litters planned, I'd love to hear it. My daughter travels from Wisconsin to Virginia nearly once a month so anywhere in between is in reason.
Thanks,
Les King
