2 1/2 yr old at Orangeburg- Smokey River

I might bring Mayberry Blue Diamond Jimmy to Orangeburg, to sell. He is 2 1/2 years old. He has never been hunted hard, but has treed several coon alone. Not mean anywhere, or about anything. He wind trees quite a bit, and have seen him split and have his coon. He has a good bawl mouth on the track, and opens according to the track. He trees with a bawl and chop, and the longer he trees the more he chops. He has a good locate. Hunts good with other dogs, and hunts pretty good alone. Sometimes, alone, he will get gone quick, other times he takes his time, but eventually gets gone. He trees harder on some trees than he does others......sometimes he trees fair, other times he will put on a show. Don't know what makes the difference. He doesn't run the tree, or has no bad habits; he has never run fast game (according to my knowledge). He responds to his name, and comes when called. He is blanket back, and weighs about 70 lbs. I have hunted him is Ms, and had no problems with armadillos. He will tree a possum, and misses once in a while, but is fairly accurate. I raised him from a pup, and he has never been sold.

I was thinking about what to price him at, and If I bought him, and paid 600 for him, I would feel that I got a real good deal, so that's what I'm going to price him at.....600. There are others that would ask much more. You will find him to be just as I described. He hates a coon, and if hunted hard, will make a top hound. He will be EXACTLY as I described him to be. I've never owned, or hunted one just like him. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing!!! He is decent right now, but could be something really special. He needs to put in coon, or maybe even on feeders. He can burn a hot track, and look really good on it. I have seen him work up cold tracks, and tree them. I've also seen him bite off more than he can chew. When that happens, I just call him in, pee on the fire, and head to the house!!!! haha!!!
